Fire Within

Medium: acrylic paint and charcoal on canvas

Fire Within holds the memory of a time when I felt deeply connected to my body: sensual, vibrant, passionate and free. The red brings warmth, vitality, desire and inner strength. It is the fire we carry inside, the life force that keeps moving even when it cannot be seen from the outside. The woman in this painting is someone I once was, someone I sometimes still am, and someone I can always become again. I believe she exists in all of us: the part that feels powerful, creative and completely at home in the body. A visual reminder of an energy that is always present, waiting to be felt.

Available as a gallery canvas print (textured, fade resistant canvas on 1.25 inch solid wood stretcher bars, mounting brackets included) or as an enhanced matte paper framed poster (ayous wood frame, acrylite front, hanging hardware included). Printed on demand.
