Awakened

Medium: charcoal, gold leaf and clear spray paint on canvas

Awakened was born from a moment of being completely lost in dance: wild, open, deeply alive, playing with the energy around the body rather than just moving it. Her loose hair carries freedom and untamed movement, while the scarf wrapped around her brings modesty, mystery and adventure. Fine golden lines move around her hand like threads of energy answering her presence, and subtle symbols appear as an intuitive language of awakening. This piece is about the moments when something inside us opens, when we move beyond thought and become fully present. Transformation that is not forced, but happens naturally when we surrender to movement.

Available as a gallery canvas print (textured, fade resistant canvas on 1.25 inch solid wood stretcher bars, mounting brackets included) or as an enhanced matte paper framed poster (ayous wood frame, acrylite front, hanging hardware included). Printed on demand.
