Medium: oil paint with a touch of acrylic on canvas
Inspired by a photograph taken in Playa Venao, Panama, by Ron Katz
A woman rests on her knees on a surfboard, balanced over cool blue water, facing the glowing energy of the setting sun. The painting lives on opposites: warm oranges and yellows meet cool blues, the stillness of her body meets the constant movement of the ocean, the end of one day meets the beginning of another. Instead of competing, these contrasts hold each other in balance and make each other feel more alive. The sun becomes a spiral, energy moving inward and outward in a continuous cycle. Sunset Flow is the moment we stop resisting and move with life's opposing forces: warmth, presence and alignment, held between different energies and finding harmony within them.
Available as a gallery canvas print (textured, fade resistant canvas on 1.25 inch solid wood stretcher bars, mounting brackets included) or as an enhanced matte paper framed poster (ayous wood frame, acrylite front, hanging hardware included). Printed on demand.
