Water Flow

Medium: acrylic paint and inks on canvas

Inspired by a photograph taken in Playa Venao, Panama, by Ron Katz

Water Flow captures a wave in Playa Venao, painted with the same freedom and unpredictability as the ocean itself. I created it in only a few hours with acrylic paint and tattoo ink, without trying to control every shape, letting the materials move, spread, mix and choose their own forms. The intuitive symbols emerged naturally inside that process, part of the movement rather than something planned. Just as the ocean never makes the same wave twice, I could never recreate this painting the same way. It came from a moment of surrender: letting go of the outcome and trusting the paint, the ink and my own instinct to find their natural flow.
